Thomas Stanford is an Executive Director at RPA, specializing in providing financial restructuring advisory services to Lenders and debtors in troubled company situations. His advisory assignments have included bankruptcy planning and liquidation, business plan evaluation, business viability analysis, cash flow and liquidity analysis, covenant development and negotiation, business divestiture strategies, cost reductions evaluation, development divestiture strategies, liquidating trustee responsibilities, expert testimony, and enterprise value analysis.

Prior to joining RPA Advisors, Mr. Stanford was a Managing Director at Capstone Advisory Group, a restructuring and turnaround consulting firm. Mr. Stanford’s professional experience also includes holding a Senior Manager position at Fort Dearborn Partners, a turnaround consulting firm, and fulfilling various financial roles at Abbott Laboratories. Mr. Stanford’s career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP (formerly Coopers & Lybrand, LLP) where he served a diverse client base that ranged from middle-market manufacturing companies to Fortune 500 corporations.

Education and Affiliations

Mr. Stanford holds a Masters of Management (MBA) degree in Management & Strategy, Marketing, and Health Services Management from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is also a CPA.
