Chip Cummins is an Executive Director at RPA, with over twenty-five years of experience in corporate finance, business and strategic planning, and accounting. He specializes in financial advisory and analysis services, and has consulted on strategic planning, business plan analysis, cash management, business viability analysis, debt restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Cummins has advised lender groups and debtors in restructuring situations and bankruptcy matters including strategic business plan development and analysis, long-term financial projection development and analysis, merger and acquisition planning and execution, lender recovery analysis, and the analysis of business divestiture options. He has also provided expert testimony in bankruptcy proceedings and served as CEO and Chairman of the Board of a merchant power plant in Texas. He has served as the CRO of a specialty healthcare center, a solar development company, and a wood pellet production facility. Mr. Cummins was also named Crisis Manager and subsequently CRO for a wood pellet manufacturing facility and shipping terminal. Currently, he serves in the role of Interim CEO and CRO of a sustainable aviation fuel/biofuel facility being developed in Oregon. He also holds a board role and serves as CFO of a medical transcription, coding, and revenue cycle management company.
Prior to founding RPA Advisors in 2011, Mr. Cummins was an Executive Director at Capstone Advisory Group, a restructuring and turnaround consulting firm. Mr. Cummins has also held positions with Ernst & Young, LLP, Arthur Andersen & Co., a technology implementation firm, and served as the Director of Finance for a telecommunications firm.
Mr. Cummins holds a Master’s in Health Administration from The Ohio State University, and a BA in Business Administration from Southern Nazarene University. He is also a member of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (“AIRA”).
