John Policano

John Policano is an Executive Director at RPA, specializing in providing financial restructuring advisory services to companies, creditors, equity holders, and third-party purchasers. In addition to these services, Mr. Policano has extensive experience in both out-of-court and bankruptcy reorganizations.

Mr. Policano’s previous assignments have included business plan evaluation, strategic planning, cash management, cash flow forecasting, cost reduction analysis, systems and management assessment, valuation, liquidation, and transaction advisory services including acquisitions and dispositions.

Prior to founding RPA Advisors in 2011, Mr. Policano began his professional career with Arthur Andersen & Co., where he was a member of the audit group, servicing clients in a variety of industries including automotive, manufacturing, financial, and leasing. Mr. Policano went on to work for FTI Consulting’s restructuring practice, and later joined Capstone Advisory Group, a restructuring and turnaround consulting firm, where he was Executive Director and Member of the Firm.

Mr. Policano holds a B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member and previously served on the board of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (“AIRA”).
