Thomas Stanford is an Executive Director at RPA, specializing in providing financial and turnaround advisory services for both debtors and lenders in distressed and troubled company situations. His advisory assignments have included business plan evaluation, business viability analysis, cash flow and liquidity analysis, covenant development and negotiation, business divestiture strategies, expert testimony, cost reductions evaluation, development divestiture strategies, bankruptcy planning and liquidation, liquidating trustee responsibilities, expert testimony, and enterprise value analysis.
Prior to joining RPA Advisors, Mr. Stanford was a Managing Director at Capstone Advisory Group, a restructuring and turnaround consulting firm. Mr. Stanford began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP (formerly Coopers & Lybrand, LLP) where he served a diverse client base that ranged from middle-market manufacturing companies to Fortune 500 corporations. Mr. Stanford’s professional experience also includes holding a Senior Manager position at Fort Dearborn Partners, a turnaround consulting firm, and fulfilling various financial roles at AbbVie (formerly Abbott Laboratories).
Mr. Stanford holds a Master’s of Management (MBA) degree in Management & Strategy, Marketing, and Health Services Management from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is also a CPA.
